Found it didn't work for me .....Maybe try the work around that Xoom owners have been doing? Clear Google service data. Check for updates. First time didn't work for me second time I had an update also I did check before I did the process just to make sure.
Found it didn't work for me .....
Understand that, don't think anyone mentioned carrier or location - Was just hoping I could speed up the process after reading trunks527 post where that option had worked for himDoesn't have anything to do with your carrier or location. They roll out "randomly" based on your IMEI.
Either wait, or you can force the update by flashing it manually if your bootloader is unlocked.
Good news!I just got it OTA! Have a GSM Nexus on T-mobile yakju build.
Notice a few new things but not that "snappiness" everyone's talking about
Wish I had a shortcut, but I don't. I've been checking system updates under setting 4 or 5 times a day and it showed up when I checked last night. What did you do to get it? I tried the Xoom fix but no luck.
I forced it last night with the following method which worked perfectly. It take no credit for this method since found it on a post.
Go to settings, apps, click on All. Scroll down to Google Framework Services and click on it. Press Force Stop, and then Clear Data. Now settings, phone, check upgrade. May need to do it twice.
After 10 minutes my phone was upgraded.
Makes me wonder why google doesn't clear data automatically in framework services.
