i've searched in forum and in note 2 settings and cannot find the place to turn on this feature:
pull out s pen and the template choices display automatically...all i can find is to activate pop up note to show when the pen is pulled out.

anyone know if this is on the note 2 like on original note?

When you pull out the stylus and the Page appears look for the gear icon in the upper right corner. That is the settings for "Page buddy" From there you can turn Page buddy off.

Or you can go into display settings and turn it off and on from there.

Also you can just turn off S Pen feature in Page buddy off you still want it to work with other items.
