Way to close tab on chrome without opening all the tabs?

I like that you can switch from one tab to the next just by swiping. Is there a way to close a tab without first going to all of the tabs view?

I think this is what you want to do. .... If you touch the top right hand corner of the tabs they will all shrink down and then there is a little "x" you can touch to close individual screens to close them.

I got that method. Was wondering if theres a quick swipe to close without pulling up all the tabs.

I did notice if you open a new tab, go to that new tab, and dont open a new link, it will close the tab with the right hard button.

If you open a link in a new tab and then press the back hard button, it will close that window.
