Well Sprint was only 2 weeks from launch to update. I thought ours would be significantly less, considering that based on Sprint reviews At&t knows the update is stable, and the Verizon version has it already running. I cant think of any reason at&t would make customers wait other than to test their loyalty and patience especially since there is no other device for them to focus on right now.
has anyone tried to use the software update when clicking on settings-->about?
each time i try it, it crashes and the error says its the AT&T updater. i wonder if that could be the cause? maybe they released it but at*ts own updating mechanism is broken?
Im really wanting multiview and debating wether to return my att note 2 and go pick up a Verizon model with it already since you have 30 days to return a product if u don't like it. I might just do that if we don't get an update soon !!

At&t told me it will come in January.

I am really curious as to what the hold up is on the update for the AT&T Note 2. Seems weird that its been a month since release and no word. I didn't know that AT&T was terrible with software updates. I'm a little pissed because I left Verizon to come to AT&T and now all my friends who stuck it out tease me about the multiwindow. Even my coworker on Sprints slow ass network(no 4g here in MI) is talking smack.
This Better be soon because a lot of people will be upset if they have possibly have to wait till March or April for at&t to roll out 4.1.2 or 4.2 when this feature should be available out the box
Maybe a handful of ppl who have nothing to complain about MIGHT whine, but truthfully, this device is runnng so smoothly and does soooo many things (and does them well) hence making this, "to date the BEST Android experience you can have"....
i hardly think most ppl would let a tiny update will stand in the way of enjoying the heck out of this phone.... Its not like 2011 & earlier back when the updates sometimes meant the difference between lagging, poor batt life, and a poor phone experience overall...
These days (for the most part) ppl have learned to get a phone running HOW u want it NOW, not sit around hoping the mfg will send timely updates.....
