Hello, after owning a few Samsung phones I'm wondering how the cell signal strength is on the note 2. In my past experience with Samsung their radios always seem a little weak, is this the case with the GN2?

I haven't had any problems and I live out a ways. It's better than my htc inspire.
My Note 1 and my wife's Skyrocket had at best 1 bar when in our house. Her S3 now gets 1-2 bars and my Note 2 gets 2-3 (yes she is not happy about that). So yes the Note 2's reception is fantastic, and better than any other AT&T phone I have tried.

Thank you guys for the info. Now I just need to make sure I can carry this phone around all day in my pocket, it doesn't seem that much bigger than my Galaxy Nexus.
Isn't the gnex 4.5 inch and the gn2 5.5 I would say its a lot bigger that's the main reason I want it.

Ok, went into an AT&T store today, I placed my Galaxy Nexus on top of the GN2 and it is bigger, but really not tremendously so, when I put it in my pocket there really wasn't much difference. I never put my keys or loose change in my pocket that I keep my phone in. As for signal strength, in bars, and dB the note 2 was steadily better than the Nexus, not a whole lot better, but consistently higher. I'm pretty much done thinking about this, will be picking one up on Thursday.
Signal is great. Wifi picks up well also.Quote:
