Note 2 indicator help!!

Hi... new user here. Love the Note 2. Got an indicator and would like to know what it means. I searched the web and did find many indicators but just cant find this particular indicator.

It is a phone icon with ann arrow swooping up from the bottom. What does it mean?

Just guessing here..without a picture to go by, but maybe a missed call???? Is the arrow red?

Thanks guys... by messing aroud... I came across " new software updates " and the indicator was associated with that... once I confirmed the updates, the indicator is gone.
