AT&T smart wifi

There have been numerous posts about smart wifi causing problems. There was recently an update..did they fix it and if not how do you disable it? If I go to manage apps and find it, it doesnt offer "disAble". How do you kill it. Same thing with AT&T Update, it shows I ts running. How do you kill it

Settings> apllication manager> swype to "all" then scroll to what you want then click disable.

Just remember when you do a restart the disabled bloatware apps revert back to being "able" .then you have to manually disable them again.

Restart or reset? I've restarted numerous times but it stays disabled.

Restart.

My ATT Locker and smart wifi seems to reverting to being "able" after every restart.

go into your settings, go into app, all apps and scroll down till you see it, click on it, force stop and disable options will appear.

I just root my androids and remove bloatware then if you want you can unroot your device so if you drop it and it breaks you will still be coverd by warranty, make sure you use rooting method that is nondetectable and reversible
