As long as it's a micro sim (which I believe it is) and you're not putting a sprint or Verizon sim in a gsm note, it will work.

Yes it's a micro sim. My sim came from an iPhone 4s
Also has to be Att compatible sim card unless unlocked

Make sure it's an LTE comparable micro sim.

Yes just did that myself, have to contact att to "turn on" lte on your sim. Otherwise you (as I did) just get 4g and not 4g lte. Takes about 10 minutes via online chat with att.
