on the Samsung website. The manual version LK7_F1 PDF file is dated December 31, 2012.

Unfortunately the link you provided goes to the nov 5th version of the manual. There is no other option.

Somebody programming the Samsung website messed up a little; it says that both manuals for the AT&T Note 2 are in Spanish, but when I downloaded the most recent one (12/31), it was in English.

Correct. The web page says

User Manual (User Manual) (ver.LK7_F1) Dec 31, 2012 SPANISH(North America) 6.23

But when you download the manual and look at the bottom of page 1 it says

SGH-I317_UM_English_UCALK7_WC_120312_F1
