screen on when messages come through..

Does anyone know how to get the screen to turn on when a message comes through?
having to turn the phone screen on to see what text came through is annoying especially when im driving..
Is this an option?

Just put your phone into driving mode and all your text messages will be read to you by S voice, no need to take your eyes off the road.

This or please don't worry about a text message while driving. There is no reason to put others life in danger nor your own over a text message.

Its not only for driving...if im on the couch and the phone is on the kitchen counter, I receive a email or text a quick glance would be very useful...or even allowing for a different default ringtone option for both services.
