No Notification of Incoming Textfree Messages While Locked?

Hi guys, I have a problem with Textfree. It seems like my Note 2 doesn't automatically notify me that I received a Textfree message if my phone is locked. I have to unlock my phone, go into Textfree app, press refresh to be able to see my message. Is this a phone error app error? Is anyone else getting this too?

sounds like an app error, maybe try using lightflow or write to the textfree developer
