Text Messages in Silent Mode

When I am on a phone call and using the speaker function, I am getting an alert with sound when I receive text messages, even when I am in silent mode. Anyone else this happening to?

Phone app >> Call settings >> Call alert

Make sure "Alerts on call" is turned off

That setting worked. Thanks again. My only criticism of android is that the settings are not centralized. I wish they would work on that.

sorry it won't happen because of the lack of coding standards and quality control, which leads to crapps (crap apps, there you go, you heard it here first). but as a number of people will say, that's the advantage of android.
