Question: My android Mail application is marking read mail as "unread" randomly. how can i fix this?

So last week I deleted my Yahoo email account off of my android mail app due to it not properly syncing the email, I have since re-added it and have been able to use it Normally except for the fact that it will randomly mark mails as "unread" that I have previously marked as read or deleted. I am hoping someone knows how to fix this problem!

Sorry for the duplicate thread, I didn't realize I posted in the AT&T section which is not my carrier. I will delete this thread
