I plugged my at&t Gnote into kies mini & it seemed like it would not even read it, I realize there is no ics update for the at&t Gnote yet but I wanted to be prepared. Even if there is no update for the Gnote shouldn't kies recognize my device? With past Samsung phones it would tell me "current software is up to date" but this time I got nothing! My Gnote is registered with Samsung so am I doing something wrong or will updates be OTA for this device, does anybody know?

My pc wouldnt recognize my Note at all. So what i did was i turned off the Note while connected to the pc and it installed the drivers. Now my Note is recognized by Kies and my PC.

Have not updated my 717 yet but I have used OTA and Kies for my GT-N7000 (International) to update. It was the full kies version not the kies mini.

It will be interesting to see if they use the new wifi version, Kies Air.
