i717 galaxy note new UI update?

The galaxy note in Germany got an update to make the UI match galaxy the note 2 and also added a new gallery. Does anyone know when it will be out for the i717 version?? Thanks

Maybe they were just avoiding lawsuits...

Yep! The international version of the Galaxy Note (n7000) got a new update, XXLRQ, which brought over some of the nice features from the SIII and Note 2. The update has only been issued in Germany so far, but developers have already ported it into a rom for all n7000 note users to download.

Here is a compiled list of new features for Note in XXLRQ. Hopefully it comes to the i717 soon!

- Resizable Pop Up Play from Note II
- New Gallery taken directly from Note II (without Air View)
- Lockscreen Rotate to Camera from S III
- New TouchWiz Launcher taken from S III. Improves performance dramatically.
- New Setup Procedure
- New Backup to Samsung Account (SMS etc)
- new launcher (like the Galaxy S3)
- new gallery with fancy 3D effects
- new contact list
- pop-up video can now be resized
- slightly changed contact list layout
- you can now save contacts in the S-Clound (like google contacts)
- performance improved!
- added S-Cloud (there is no dedicated App but after flashing you will be asked if you want to sycn all your settings with samsung)
- added new motion: call contact currently displayed if you raise the phone
- added bloatware (NTV, Lieferheld, ChatOn, myTaxi)
- new gallery from note 2
