galaxy note only loads to samsung screen

i have a galaxy note that i was texting and hit send, as soon as i hit send the phone shut off. only way to get it to come on is to take the battery out and put it back in and doing this it only loads to the 2nd samsung screen then shuts off. ive taken it to the att support store and they say they cant do anything with it. ive booted it to the rom feature to boot from the there but it only stays in the rom feature for as long as the 2 samsung screens would stay on....any ideas?

Put it in download mode and reflash the stock ROM with Kies. You will lose your current information on it.
