My update to Jelly Bean 4.1.4 seemed to go well, no loss of data or settings, except maybe that the home page screen seems a bit "washed-out," low-contrast, no biggie.

But, since then (two days ago), several apps have been updating, and I have gotten errors as noted in the title. These seem to toggle between one error and the other at different times. Even Google Search has told me both things after different attempts to update it.

Free Device Memory shows as 227MB, USB storage 9.7GB, SD Card 2.9GB.

Any ideas to fix this?

Thanks!
Bill

Try clearing the cache and data for the Google play store app. Are you sure the app supports 4.1.

Worst case is to do a factory reset

Clearing the Dalvik Cache with Titanium Backup did the trick!

Thanks!
