Transfer of Data, Email, Text from Atrix to SGS-2
Hello,
I currently have a Atrix and have ordered a SGS2. I am trying to figure out how to back up the essentials, Email, Text and SMS messaging, and transfer to the Galaxy S2.
My Primary Email is a RoadRunner Account on the Atrix, the Secondary is GMail. RoadRunner uses Outlook.
Also does anyone know if you can add Notification Tones and Ringtones and assign them the same way as Blackberry Allows, Literally anything and everything.( Email, SMS, text and Instant) I had a chat with Samsung tech and they said no- Hard to believe, they also said the AT&T SGS2 has a Notification LED. Contrary to what was published. When you get new mail, I assume a Notification tone goes off?
Thank you in advance.

You can use whatever tone you like for ringtone, notification tone and texts messages but I don't believe you can customize independent tones for text messages from different people just a general tone for any text message. Call tones, however, can be customized for each contact. I can run you through how to set up these tones if you need it but there are quite a few tutorials on it everywhere online. And yes a new email will sound a tone if you have notification tones on and the phone is not on silent. A removable sd card would probably be the easiest way to transfer from phone to phone and most are fairly cheap and useful in other circumstances.

I went to the Samsung Site, they have a live 24hr a day 7 day a week support site (chat) the Agent stated Crystal Clear, that the AT&T Version DOES HAVE a LED Notification light. Can you confirm that?
I asked him how that was possible, when everyone else is reporting it doesnt. He said, " I am a senior Samsung Tech" If I dont know, than no one knows!Last edited by ItsaRaid; 10-05-2011 at 08:09 AM. Reason: typo
