How do i set my yahoo email where it only checks for mail every couple of hours?

Are you using the stock email client or are you using the the Yahoo! mail app from the market?

The one from the market. Im trying to conserve battery life. Will this help?

From what I could tell you don't really have an option to set the Yahoo! Mail app, I was having problems with it not getting mail and sending me a notification until I opened the app in the first place.

It looks nicer than the Stock Email app but I deleted Yahoo! Mail and went back to using the standard email at least it works properly and sends me notifications.
