Reports from the Nexus event is that pretty much every Gingerbread (2.3) device will be getting ICS.

Is there anything unique to the new devices (hardware) that come with ICS that the SG2 does not have? I know there is only one device so far. I think I heard that most of the buttons are gone so you get a front that is almost all screen. Is this a ICS standard?

From Samsung & ATT? prolly mid next year. From CM? Hopefully this year.

I would suspect that we will see the OS sooner likely around christmas time. Spec wise the GS2 actually has a slightly faster GPU so the experience should be the same on both (minus the display resolution)
