i wanted to root my phone because i got bored of my theme and set up, but i didnt want to mess with the software just yet

i than heard of launchers, i have go launcher ex with this sweeeet set up. Ill post pics when i get my phone charged but basically you can change how the screen transitions, icons, the whole lay out of each screen(to an extent), but most importantly you get a bunch of free themes

you can change what all the buttons do as well but there are more that i cant think of, but if your new to smartphones and or androids like me than i never knew about these till 3 days ago and it was the coolest thing ever, a good way to utilize what an android can do !

Yep, launchers can be pretty cool. One of my favorites is the Sony Experia Arc Launcher, very minimalist but nice looking. As of late though I have been using the stock launcher as it does everything that I need it to do.
