video camera problems

I went to a concert on Halloween and took some video of the crowd and the show. During the recording the phone just kept trying to focus and the video ended up showing just that, a constant battle to focus with most of the video blurred out. My wife has an iPhone 4 and she had a perfectly focused video ( and better sound than mine even though the SGS2 is 1080p )

I looked in the video settings and don't see anything that would help, but if anyone out there can help me out i'd appreciate it! thanks!
