i rooted and i use a launcher now but could that affect my score? can any one whos rooted post their score?

    thanks

not a big deal but would suck considering rooting should improve performance so i feel somethings wrong with my phone

The score that you get with your phone can drastically change depending on how many apps are running in the memory. Having a launcher running can change your score. Rooting didn't cause it...I promise you that.

Restart your phone and run it again...I bet your score will change.

I've tried overclocking and will get frequent reboots...and kernel are you using to overclock?

I don't have mine overclocked, but running the UnNamed ROM if I go into task manager and close all apps and clear memory before running the benchmark I get right at about 3400.

Running unnamed occur @ 1.4 I get scores between 4200 and 4400 but it mainly varies due to how many apps are in memory how much ram is available if I have my phone in airplane mode or not etc. I wouldn't put much stock in quadrant for anything other than looking at the differences between say on mod or another on your phone

Unfortunately for me...when I OC my phone, I have to Over Volt it as well to keep it stable. There are apps that will let you do this...including setcpu....However it is very dangerous to Over Volt. To make mine stable, I had to Over Volt to 1300mV @ 1.4ghz.

My Current score with Quadrant came out to be...
    3526 @ 1.4ghz with CM7

Edit....from an old thread of mine.
I will be posting up all of my Quadrant Scores as I test out new ROMS. Everyone please post your scores.
So far Cognition x2 is the fastest. I'm not to sure how to explain this.

    Completely stock - 3260

    UnNamed v 1.0.3 @ 1.2ghz - 3292
    UnNamed v 1.0.3 @ 1.4ghz - 4012
    UnNamed v 1.0.3 @ 1.6ghz - 4968

    Cognition X2 Beta 4 @ 800mhz - 2877
    Cognition X2 Beta 4 @ 1.0ghz - 3206
    Cognition x2 Beta 4 @ 1.2ghz - 3634
    Cognition x2 Beta 4 @ 1.4ghz - 4521
    Cognition x2 Beta 4 @ 1.6ghz - 5250

Its a free app you can download from the market. You will want to probably reboot the phone, go into task manager and make sure no apps are running and clear memory just to be sure, then open the Quadrant app and choose "Run full benchmark."

i wasnt sure if i did an extra step in the kernel flash.

i know in the unnamed rom, it features entropy's daily driver kernel..does that mean while flashing this rom, it will also flash the kernel to entropy's DD kernel?

i had also flash entropys kernel after i flashed the rom.

redundant? will this affect the quadrant score?
