Occasionally, my new Galaxy II Skyrocket emits a sound like a bicycle bell. I'm baffled, as I don't think that's even one of the choices in the notification settings. Can anyone offer insight? Thanks.

I get that as a notice that new email has arrived.

As above poster said; It's probably the email notification.

I get that too. If it's happening when plugged in, it's the full battery notification. If it was email, there would be a message to that effect in your notifications.

When I hear the bell, I always see a notification that new email has arrived.

The bicycle bell tone is called "Postman."

How about Bluetooth? Mine gives a notification tone for every little thing that changes on those connections, including being activated.

I found this funny because last week same thing happened to me. I was saying to myself "what the heck is that "?. Turned out it was from my xfinity app telling me I had an email.
