2.3.6 network speeds fixed

Hello, I updated to 2.3.6 and I have noticed a marked network speed improvement. I just pulled 6Mb down with speedtest. Has anyone else noticed this?

my download speed has been increasing over the last several weeks. use to average 2 to 4 m bits recently more like 4 to 6 megabits but just like you after update it's now even better, around 7 to 9 megabits. I am in orlando area

I haven't updated yet...but i question the accuracy of the speedtest app. on the phone's browser go to speakeasy.net and try their speed test. I've been able to his 6-7mbps on that immediately after getting 2-3 on speedtest.
Maybe speakeasy is wrong? I've never done further research in to it though.

I think it is partially the upgrade. On my atrix I used to pull double what my s2 could with 2.3.4

Wow I updated yesterday and just now did a speedtest. On 2.3.4 I was averaging 5-6MB down and now I just hit 11MB on 3 consecutive speedtests. Something is definitely better. In DFW by the way.
