I have ripped a bunch of movies and put them on my SII, but when I go into the videos section in the gallery, I can only see thumb nails of the movies and no names. I dont want to have to click on each movie to see what it is. Is there any way to see the file name without clicking on it?

Dunno if this will work but try long pressing the file then once the more options come on check for the details of the file... May just work

I have done this and I can see the file names that way, but I have to long press then click file info. Its faster to just play the video and see the title that way. I'm just looking for a way to see the file names under the thumbnail

Instead of browsing through gallery, I just go directly to video player where all the files are listed.
