No emails working, Phone and GMail app, even manual refresh.

So my emails are not pushing on my phone. ALso tried the GMAIL App and can't see mail past March 9th. The gmail app refreshed, tells me I have new emails but does not show them to me.

More importantly the emails I have set up through the phone won't show up even though I have them set to read every 5 minutes. I hit refresh and it just stays in refresh. I don't know what to do. Tougher to fathom as I came from a blackberry. It is one thing if it does not push but manual refresh does not help either. All I get is "loading messages."

What am I doing wrong?

You could cross check in Settings->Accounts And Sync->Choose your google account and see what is being synched and what isn't. Try force synching. However, that might not be the problem at all.

I don't know.....try clearing the data of gmail app or maybe rebooting the phone(try pulling out battery as well). Or maybe you installed a task scheduler which might be killing the services.

Thanks done it all. Cleared the gmail data app. Last night when I wrote the post deleted and then added the account back onto my phone. As before it is still "loading messages."
