Default ICS & Memory Management on SGS2?

One of the biggest advances with Froyo was the ability to move apps to SD, on my tablet however, with Gingerbread and again with iIce Cream Sandwich (4.03) there is no ability to move apps to SD. Will the ability to move and run apps from SD be lost on the SGS2 when Samsung updates us to ICS?

It's not the phone its the developer who makes the app who makes it possible.

Oh, I see. I thought it was a characteristic of the specific Android operating system. Thanks.

I'm using a ROM based on Android 4.0 and can move apps freely between internal memory and the SD card.
