far as I know it was the upgrade from 2.3.4 to 2.36 which occurred last December/January

From what I've been able to gather and IIRC, this update was released earlier this year internationally and it looks its coming to the U. S. now.

2.3.6 was OTA but 4.0.3 had to be installed with Samsung Kies Desktop software over a USB connection.

At the moment, it still looks like 2.3.6 is the last OTA update for the ATT model of the SGII

I had a Samsung live chat and they said there arent any reports about issues with ics . I told them to file the complaint so Samsung can address the issue in the next update. The more reports for our phone (i777) the more likely the battery drain and other issues will be addressed.
