Charger recommendation

In need of a second charger for work and another for the car.

Samsung website sells them for $35+
While Amazon has a lot starting at $1 to $13

what's a reasonable decent back up charger to get for the s3 that's safe to use

I notice on Amazon that the OEM Samsung S3 car charger is less than $10 here.

And the OEM Samsung S3 wall charger is also less than $10 here.

The fact that these are listed for the international model S3 (I9300) shouldn't affect their use for the US models I would think.

The price difference sounds almost too good to be true. But. I ordered them frown amazon. Let's see how they do next week

Bought a 4 port 2.1amp USB charger from monoprice, works well so far, and has a port made to charge iPads correctly. The HP touch pad charger is cheap many places and also a solid 2amp charger.

I also have extras from shopandroid.
Like to support the A.C. website and forums when the price is close enough.

I strongly encourage use of Samsung OEM chargers. Had issues with my Skyrocket, likely due to using non-Sammy chargers.

the only car charger I have been able to still be charging with GPS navigation and Pandora running at the same time is the Motorola rapid charger I got from Amazon for six dollars. Every other charger discharged (still lost power even while being plugged in) in the same scenarios.
