Starting to see them pop up on Ebay and Amazon. Has anyone tried one yet?
I'm not a fan of the blue/silver/purple but don't want a case. A matte black replacement back cover would be ideal. So far I'm finding just about every color under the sun except matte black!

Well at 181 views and no responses, I assume no one is really interested in this but I ended up receiving this one today and it is absolutely perfect. If you're not digging the color and slipperiness of the phone but don't want a case, this works great. VERY grippy and a perfect tight fit.

The plasic one looks good.
I have heard that the metal backs reduce signal and prevent NFC

I also would go with the plastic one. However I have not bought anything for a new backing yet. I am sure one day that I will!

I would LOVE to find something that had more of a rubber or soft-touch feel that allowed more grip than the stock plastic.

I just ordered . I keep going back and forth between an alternative back cover and a thin case. I'll let you know how it is.
