LTE problem

I just installed CMD10 on my Galaxy S3 4.1 Jelly Bean and now my LTE has switched to H+. I know that H+ means stronger 3G but does that mean that it changed my connection or has my LTE been lying to me this whole time?

If you are in an LTE area the indicator will switch to "4G" or check your APN settings
