I have rooted my Galaxy S3 and now I am receiving this message to install AT&T software update. When I download that update and try to install it says that it fail to install the software update. To do so I even selected "Temp Un-Root" option in "SuperUser" app.

Can anybody tell me how to install the software update from AT&T?

I was just about to post up a thread about this exact same issue. I have the same problems. I tried it a few times by doing a temp un-root in OTARootkeeper but that also failed.

If you are on a custom rom, deleted AT&T bloatware or have a custom recovery you will not be able to except the ota update.

If you are rooted on the stock rom and have stock recovery the ota keeper would work.

I will see what I can find for you guys...

I am not sure about it....I just go to "Settings" and in that I select "About Device" --> "Software Update"---> "Check for updates". After that it says "Software update process will not delete any personal data on your phone. Check the AT&T server for new software update?".

No more details about the software...
