I'm a new droid user.. Just got my s3 about 3 weeks ago and got sick of waiting for jelly bean from ATT so I rooted my phone and installed cm10.

I used GAPPS 4.2 package (instructions I gathered said this would work fine with 4.1.2)

Root and Rom installation seemed to work seamlessly although I am having 1 issue.

None of my google stuff will sync. So i am not getting any of my phone contacts, apps, calendar, ect..

I continually get this error.

Sync is currently experiencing problems it will be back shortly. If I click on sync now I'll get an error box that says "Unfortunately, Gmail has stopped" Contacts has stopped etc.. etc..

Is this because I used the wrong GAPPS package? Should I just reinstall the ROM? I'm not at a loss of time really here so if a reinstall would fix it i'll give that a go unless someone has an idea whats going on.

I forgot to add I can not get the Play Store to load either..

You also need to install the gapps file to get Google play. Google it.
