Cynogenmod 10 Battery Problems

I just got a Galaxy s3 and installed the cynogenmod 10 on it, but the battery drains actually quicker than it did when I had my s3 running stock before (sorry not familiar with the term I should be using). I watch a lot of Youtube videos and play alot of music and use all the apps.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Sounds like you just need to get an extended life battery. All of those things you listed will kill the battery regardless of the rom you are on.

I actually had that same issue with CyanogenMod. That is why I am (sadly!) returning back to stock. I loved CyanogenMod, but my battery life was terrible. Between 6:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M., my battery drained 50%. All I did was have my phone sitting on my desk at work.
