    Default Rooting Questions

    I'm a noob at this and have 2 questions before I actually root.

    1. I will be backing up my data/apps using the tool listed in another thread when I root. When I root only without flashing a new ROM will I have to reload all of my apps?

    2. How do I wipe the data and cache when flashing a new ROM? The instructions always say to do that but not exactly sure how it's done
