    Default Question

I'm thinking of buying a galaxy s3 without contract and what I'd like to know is will the att version work on t mobile?

    Will the international version?

The international version is unlocked and will work on AT&T and T-Mobile. The AT&T model is locked to AT&T and will only work on T-Mobile if you get it unlocked.

Yeah I know about unlocking, was just wondering if the att version would work on t mobile's HSPA or not.

Yes, but overall it's actually cheaper in the long run

Your first post should have been more specific then. You asked if the AT&T model would work on T-Mobile, that is why I mentioned unlocking.

You need 1700 frequency to fully enjoy tmobile hspa network and the international and att version doesn't have 1700.

    That completely sucks!

So if I buy the t mobile version I can only use it on t mobile. I'm not happy with that.
