That seems to be the most consistent way to get it. I ordered yesterday at 2:45pm and it's already shipped with a tracking number. I've read many, many posts around the Web with folks having the same experience.

(This does not include some of the June 6th preorder people. Some of them still don't have theirs.)

From what I understand, ordering after 3pm means it doesn't post until the next day. So, as far as the shipping is concerned your order went out today. Presumably, it'll be posted by tomorrow?

I ordered yesterday from corporate store. Shipped withing 5hrs and it's on its way to me as we speak. I will either get it tomorrow or Monday. Either way I'm happy I know mine is coming. I should have done this last week. Oh well, waiting is half the fun am I right guys?....guys?

yea i did the same, pre ordered a white GS3 at corp store around 5:30 and got an email that it was shipped around 11pm.... my tracking info just updated alittle while ago saying it wen through the sort facility at 7 in memphis tenn

Man my wife's phone is still processing as of now. We ordered it yesterday. I'm in California. Ordered on the 28th at 5pm and it's the 29th at 8:53pm as I type this no Change

I've been talking to a few ATT dealers and they actually have the phones in stock, they just cant sell me one until the 1st (Sunday) which they say launch day for southern CA. hope that help.

I agree... I pre-ordered (white) at BB on 6/7 and was not able to get any info. Yesterday I finally got fed up with waiting on BB and not being able to get any info. I called AT&T to order at full retail and was told I could get an early upgrade!!! They shipped the phone overnight for free. It is scheduled for delivery on Monday by 3pm.

If the Best Buy or Mobile store have then here, they aren't selling them. They lied to me of Friday and said they'd release on Sunday. They're even in the ad. Last night they even showed up online and in stock at every Best Buy from here to Houston.

They all have different excuses and new dates. What a joke.

I'm still waiting for my wife's to ship. Ordered it Thursday and it's still processing . Sucks when someone ordered there's on Friday and it's shipped already. Makes me think that something is wrong with my order.

Granted I got my phone yesterday, I went to the Best Buy store in The Woodlands, and the guy told me he had them in stock but wasn't allowed to sell them, or he would get fired. I went back to AT&T to buy a case today, and they still didn't have any available, and the guy that sold me the phone yesterday had no idea when they would get any.

My question now is this, if I was able to preorder my phone on Thursday, and get it as soon as Saturday, does that mean AT&T has a warehouse full of these devices just waiting to be shipped? Or is Samsung trying to stir up ridiculous demand for no reason at all? Without comparing this launch to the launch of previous iPhones, Apple tends to have MILLIONS of their phones manufactured, and are made available AT LAUNCH, and in store for people to buy, and I have never had a problem buying an iPhone day 1. While I'm extremely happy with my device, this whole launch seems unorganized! /rant

Maybe they have enough stock to satisfy the demand from online sales since most people are waiting to get them in the stores. I think they do not have enough minimum stock for all of their stores, so they are holding off until they can stock all of store with blue and white models. Just a guess. Maybe ATT was trying to hold off until the third quarter started (today) to book the sales since subsidization of the phones is a drag on earnings in the short term? A head scratcher for sure...

Yeah no clue, it's just frustrating seeing Samsung advertise this phone as now being available, when to must people, it clearly is not. Ah well, patience is a virtue, and I now have my Galaxy S3 !!!

Ordered at the Att store saturday, and just got my tracking number from UPS like an hour ago. Hopefully I get it soon enough my blackberry is really dying lol
