Re: Consumers Reports rates Galaxy S3 camera best
Dear Forum Police. I posted it once to the General S III forum and once to the ATT S III Forum. I thought it would be of interest to those who aren't specifically on ATT and to those who are (like myself). Hardly spamming. Now go back to policing the forum. I'm sure someone will appreciate your tireless efforts.

Re: Consumers Reports rates Galaxy S3 camera best
Went to the ATT store today to play with it and found the placement of the volume rocker was challenging when using the camera when using it in landscape mode. The left thumb naturally sits on the bottom of the phone right where the rocker switch is.. Anyone else notice this? And yes, the camera is lightning fast and appears to take great photos.
Really want to like this phone, but at these prices, I don't want to waste an upgrade, LOL - 07-06-2012, 09:17 PM #5

Re: Consumers Reports rates Galaxy S3 camera best
I'm not really all that impressed with the camera. Despite a macro setting, close-up shots are usually blurry (even with flash). And I tried a few low-light test shots across a room, trying to focus on objects about 10 feet away, and the pictures keep coming out really out of focus, even with the flash. Shots of close things (not macro close, though) seem to be extremely clear.
Anyone take any successful macro shots of small objects??? - 07-11-2012, 12:37 AM #13
Re: Consumers Reports rates Galaxy S3 camera best
To be fair, you did title the thread "Consumer Reports rates Galaxy S3 camera best"
And you said this:
"Consumers Reports rates the Galaxy S3 camera as the best on three carriers."
So you may not have said anything about the iPhone, but by titling your thread the way you did and saying what you said in your OP you did misquote the article.Forum Rules & Guidelines -- CLICK HERE
