...to turn the shutter sound off. I played with my friends AT&T GS3 the other night and I thought I remember seeing that you can turn the shutter sound off in the Camera app. Did I just dream that or is that really the case. Could someone check for me?

Yeah you can turn it off, until somebody cries and they remove that too.

Yes it's towards the bottom of the settings list within the camera app.

actually some phones are starting to come without that option due to privacy laws etc.. the htc evo lte doesnt have the option to turn it off.. but the one x does
