1. When I take a picture, is that stored in 16 gigs of "internal memory" - the stuff that gets erased during a factory wipe?
2. Did my ATT S3 come with an internal SD? There was an option in my Go Launcher to backup settings to SD. When I did it, it didn't give me an error, but I never bought one or installed one. What's up with that?
3. Is the 2 gigs or "ram" memory faster than the 16 gigs of storage? (Is it analogous to a PC's RAM vs. hard disk)? Or, is it just as fast but only a small portion of it which is why the OS needs to kill tasks from it? I have the impression that if an app is already loaded in the 2 gigs of memory, it opens fast, but if it needs to be loaded from the 16 gigs to the 2 gigs, that's slower. Is that correct?
4. Is the android OS on ROM?
Thanks for helping me understand my S3's memory better,
Mike
