Default how to set up a shortcut for phone dialing

I found one time, but now I can't remember how I did it, but I would like on my main page, a shortcut for dialing home. I had one before, but I deleted it, and can't remember where I found it. Is it an app, or do I find it under contacts or the phone icon? thanks Phil

It's the widget called "Direct dial". When you set it up it will ask you what number you want to attach to it.

In addition to Direct Dial, there is an app called Speed Dial. It works very well. All ur one touch icons are in a folder, so no chance of **** dialing anyone! Which also means it Doesnt take up a bunch of space on the home screen.

Thanks so much, I have been looking for this. It was on my Captivate and I loved it for calling my boys but I couldn't find it until now.
