Problems with Device location

I am having problems when trying to locate my device through certain applications that access my location through the internet. For instance, the Google Maps app always locates me, but if I use Google Maps on my phone thru the browser it cannot locate me this also happens often using Foursquare as well as Facebook. It will locate me only occasionally using gps, but almost never using my network location or wifi. Does anyone else find this happening to them on their GS3?

Make sure "Location and Google Search" is checked under Settings > Location Services... This allows Google to use your location data for improved search results and other services.

Aside from that, I'm all out of ideas.

Trust me it's checked, my phone just must be defective. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a common occurance before I traded in.

I may be late to the party, but I am experiencing the same issue. My old Droid X rarely had this problem. I have to turn on GPS or connect to wifi to get an accurate location.
