Default Okay, I have one big gripe

Answering a phone call. Why can't we just have a simple icon tap gesture. Why do we have to drag the circle out. I just missed a call from my Comcast technician on the way to a service appointment with me, because I wasn't able to drag the circle in time. I mean, what is the purpose of this?

Probably so that if you just accidently tap the phone wrong in your pocket or when picking it up it doesn't just answer it automatically. I know there has been more than one occasion that I look at my phone and just let it go to voice mail. Besides, it also really takes a fraction of a second to answer a call by swiping, just think your case would be the small minority of the cases where you miss a call because you have to swipe. Also, maybe someone has an app or something that modifies your answering screen so you can just tap it.

You may find it easier to use the hardware buttons to answer and/or end calls.

Go to phone > call settings > call answering & ending

Here you can enable using the home button to answer calls and/or the power button to end calls. Makes it a little more straight forward.

You can also use voice command to answer calls if you like that. Sometimes I'm cooking or washing dishes and can't touch the phone and the voice command is clutch.

Go to Settings, then Accessibility, then Call Answering/ Ending. You can then choose alternative ways of handling calls for those times it's not convenient to swipe.

If you miss the call, it is still in your call logs. It is just another feature to get used to.
