Hey everybody,
New gs3 owner here. I know that there was a recent OTA update to the phone (brightness control in the notification area, etc.) My question is, has this update been rolled out to US AT&T phones yet? I don't see this update available when I look for updates from my phone or from using the Kies desktop app.

What version software do you have? The last one I have heard of is the CALG1 update and that doesn't add in those features.

Any recent updates would have been to remove local search due to the apple lawsuit.

My version is the same, the UCALG1.

No AT&T has not released that update yet (the one with brightness control in the notification area). You are correct that it did go out to international users a few weeks ago but we have not gotten it yet.

I'd bet the JB update is still a ways off...knowing AT&T...

I'd imagine they've been testing the OTA the OP mentioned already and will release that before JB...but who knows.

The jelly bean update has only been rumored for the international version, possibly next week. I am sure at&t still needs to test the OS update before releasing it.
