tethering question(s)

just switched from iPhone (been using one for four years) to android Samsung gs3...I also have an iPad 3 and I'm trying to figure out how to use my phone as a wifi hotspot so I can use the iPad anywhere...help!!!

If you have the correct data plan just turn on the native app. If not it has to be done in other ways. Creative searching will do the trick...

if you are not rooted you can use foxfi, just ensure to enable the proxy so they do not know you are going around their "no tethering without a tethering plan"(if your on unlimited), if you are rooted there are apps u can download that do the same

I have been tethering since July on my ATT Galaxy S3 and haven't been caught yet. I do have a VPN setup through work so it encrypts everything. I got caught once on my iPhone 4 when AT&T first started sending out the warnings.
