How do you go about fixing the issue then? Or is it even possible? Im hoping the phone isnt completely gone because it at least made calls before this whole process haha

Im open to anything that will make it work, even if that means rooting it to something else. The problem i had with liquid was when doing certain things the screen would freeze and reset the whole phone and a few other annoying problems.

The phone is not dead at all so do not worry there. We just need to figure out the bootloop. If it were dead you would not get a darn thing.

I am looking for stock rooted for you to flash via odin...give me a sec..

OK I think the problem could be the kernel (don't worry about it) throwing us off.

I want to try this: first. Download that, and flash it in ODIN like the other file.

Its claiming a 30 minute download time on that so ill download it and flash it and post the results (hopefully good)

Anyway, back to the issue. The kernel send out the instructions to the other parts of the phone. What we have been doing is flash an ICS ROM on top of a JellyBean kernel. I am not sure that the file we have been flashing is overwriting the kernel (or even has it in there) and that is causing the loop.

What I just gave you should have the kernel and everything you need to have stock ICS. Once we get you into the phone itself, if you want to remove root we can do that...

I see what your saying about the kernal and everything so hopefully the newest addition will fix the issue. Assuming it doesnt however and sense my downloads arent exactly fast what would be the next step in fixing that?
Assuming it does work though i would be able to update to jelly through kies and everything like a normal phone though correct?

OK my next step would be this:

that file is just the Modem, Kernel and CWM. so that we would be CERTAIN that it is the right stuff.

From what I know, there is no stock JB yet for Att. I havent seen even a leak.

As far as updates, if we get you back into the phone, it will mean that we are back to stock **for the most part**. We will have a custom recovery and be rooted. As far as I know, you need to be totally stock to do the updates.

What I would do if I was you and wanted to be totally stock is keep on the course we have going, get into the phone, then go back and start at the very beginning with the guide you have been following. That WILL overwrite the root and the put you back totally to stock so you can do the OTA.

They both were, the first one im trying to flash right now is still a tar file i just flashed it as the zip but it was extracted

Its about half way flashed with odin on my end so Im not sure if i should have went ahead and flashed the zip file or not but... its in the process?

The second download gave me a "boot" "recovery" and "NON-HLOS.bin"

did you extract the file? you should be flashing root69_ATT_I747UCALG1.tar

The second file you flash as is, do not extract any of the files in there. anything you flash in ODIN should end with .tar or .tar.md5

That was the 30 minute download you gave me, i flashed the entire zip file as one and it did the normal thing, passed, rebooted, and got stuck
