    Default What is "Media" - Using up a lot of battery

    Since my JB update, the #1 item for Battery usage is Media at 41% (screen is 23%).
    What is Media and why is it so high all of a sudden?

    If you are reffering to Media Server. Go into settings - application manager - All - locate Media Hub - and disable it. You might have to uninstall updates then disable it. Here is the thing though. If you use the Samsung Music Player, or Video Player it will enable Media hub again. and it will start eating up your battery again.

    Mined showed Media as killing the battery when my sd card was having issues.... Not sure if it's the same for you.
