Simple LTE disable for AT&T
I did this, no rooting needed, very simple and not changing any crazy setting, just adding another APN.

Re: Simple LTE disable for AT&T
If you are in 3G only, then you don't need to worry about this issue.

Re: Simple LTE disable for AT&T
I just noticed my phone was on LTE for the first time, yesterday.
I was sitting in my vehicle in a parking lot, waiting for my wife, who, if you can believe it, was looking for Christmas decorations....on the day after Christmas, so was on a 6-store after-Christmas-sale Blitzkreig sweep mission, of some sort.
Anyway, I was thinking....why is my mobile data running so lightening fast today?! :O
So I guess I should do the disable then, as well, since that location was about 10~12 miles from where we live, out in the country, and I don't think LTE is available, yet, in our local area towers. - 12-27-2012, 06:55 PM

Re: Simple LTE disable for AT&T
My LTE in my area is still not great, on just my street alone, but I had the device tech people flash JB on my phone the other day and no drain on my new battery and I don't turn LTE off anymore.
