Thinking about the factory reset due to post JB upgrade. Not had to do the reset before, so what is the easiest way to backup settings, apps, etc...?

Will a backup THROUGH Kies work?

Any help would be appreciated!

Your apps should already be backed up to your Google account and should re-download after you factory reset
Also your contacts and calendars will be backed up via your google account
Make sure u sync them to make sure (Settings -> Accounts -> Google, click your email, then sync)
You can back up your SMS messages with this: ..
Also save your music and photos on your MicroSD card

What about email accounts?
What about app data?
I don't want to try to get 3 stars in angry birds, AGAIN!

I can't root either. My volume button is broken, unless there is another way to enter "download mode"
